Onyx: a true pleasure to play

I purchased Onyx a week ago or so... and so far I loved the game a lot!

To give a final opinion I'll wait until I complete it, but at the moment I consider it one of the best games I ever played

(My personal list contains Undefeated, LF1, Vagrant Hearts and some titles that most youngsters don't know, like Eye of Beholder and the Ultima series).

So I highly recommend testing Onyx, it's worth every byte of download.

Spoiler: show
And... who invented the Dewey decimator? I never stumble in a name so hilarious and genial at the same time! +::biggrin

Glad you love it!
The enemies and charas look very nice and the game's pretty challenging.

It's someone at Valkyria who came up with the name btw. +::Thumbup

Finished!
I enjoyed the game for many aspects, the length, the quality of the graphics, the huge variety of monsters and spells.

I am a bit disappointed from the final battle, though. After the "Omega" version of the new evil goddess, rather easy to kill, I was also expecting a harder "Alpha" version... it is also true that my characters arrived at the final battle with absurdly high levels (the lowest 72, the highest more than 90!) and maybe this is why the battle has not been a challenge.

Reading the memories, it seems that not many played with Baba in the party. She has very good spells at high level, which proved extremely useful in many cases.
