Yes, which is a pity. She's my favorite among them.

So the two guys, are they both fighters or is one of them a magician? Or even both and the girl is the fighter?
(Yes, spoilers, I know. Asking anyway, hehe).

"Rather" sounds cool! I usually prefer fighting with weapons more than with spells, but only hitting becomes boring too, so I like it when fighters have some cool spells too.
I've been replaying TBOL recently with Lorette and Randolf. Now Randolf sure is very strong, but he doesn't have a single spell.
Zetta, however, I liked much more when I had her. He is strong AND learns the Battle Dance spells, which makes her a power house, much more than Randolf.

He is for sure, especially with the Slaughterer Gauntlet to hit twice.
And Lorette gets some awesome spells with higher levels.
Yet, when I had Zara and Zetta or even only Zetta for keeping Jassie, I got along much better. (Which was partly my fault though because I only sent Lorette to Wittaland, keeping Randolf with Jordan. Killing Osphilades was hell without a real strong fighter.)

Yes a good strategy is crucial in this game.
Usually well balanced parties will do better, or at least well enough.

Yes, but it's hard to decide. In Jordan's part there are those nasty Arxisians that are so fast and deal so much damage. I wanted Randolf to know them out fast.
Also in Clea's part there's Lo's tower and you need good spells for the Defenders there. That's a place where you get along much better with spells than with brutal force. That's why I decided that way. I wasn't thinking of how difficult Osphilades can be.

Well Osphilades sends troops and then comes back for a second round, quite nasty bugger.

Yes, and the troops are much harder than any other demon's troops.
With Zetta that fight was a piece of cake though. She kept dancing through the battle, hehehe!

Now that's a surprise!
I guess that means more VX-style charas and maps?
