Permission

Postby Millenium » Wed Jan 08, 2014 12:09 pm

Hey Indie ,
I haven't bought the game yet but I am loving the demo version.
I have reached the end of it but am starting again in legendary mode.
Can I have the permission to tamper with the save files for money and items ? +::whistle

Thanks

It's usually best to play the game the way it was made. ;) +::Thumbup
Hope you'll like the full version. 8)

I take that for a yes . +::YAY
Its just for a little fun and I usually don't like the battle parts much even in easy mode.

Thanks

Sorry to interfere, but I don't think that was a yes.
He said it's best to play it the way it was made. Which I'd take for a no in a very polite wording.

I'm pretty sure that it was a No. After all, why would he agree to someone hacking the game?

If its money you are after in the game there is a cheat engine but its not advisable to use it unless you are say on the 2nd time through.I usually use it on the 2nd pass of a game to get unlimited cash to buy all the best weapons but i prefer to play the game as it was designed and build the money etc up bit by bit. +::Thumbup

Well fortunately (or unfortunately, depending on your point of view) all the best armor and weapons are in secret rooms or are the rewards for side quests and cannot be bought. You are also issued with gear by the army.

You can buy gear in Eshley and Laymar, and looking at it, if you can't find the secret rooms it's better than the army issue. But I got through just with what I found or what I got as quest rewards. I didn't have to buy any gear at all.

Yeah i found that the weapons etc that id picked up along the way were better than the army stuff.

The Millennium games were good ones cause they seem to have had more items to find along the way.
I noticed that some of these other games even as good as they are didn't have alot to find really.

All games are different, and how 'found items' are used will also vary. However, in this one there are a few hundred things to find, including the stuff in the secret rooms. Are you picking up all the items that are in 'plain' view? By that I mean all the herbs etc. that are on the ground that Bastien can use in his recipes; some of them blend well with the background, so you need to be alert to get them all.

I thought I was but when I would go to make the recipes it said I didnt have all the items. Guess my eyes were tired and needed the reading glasses to see better. I'll have to play again soon. I got stuck near the end and had to re-download the game then it ended.
