Where is Galton? I can't find him. Was there something I should have done to find him? Is it time sensitive? I finally broke down and looked in the study guide, so I know where he is supposed to be according to the guide, but I can't find him at all! I'm getting close to the end, so I either find him now or give up and try the next time I play. I just don't know what I did that made it so I can't find him. I don;t want anyone to ruin it for others, so a pm would be nice, or spoiler tags, thanks in advance for any hint!!!

It is time sensitive.
Spoiler: show
You have to find him before you reaching a certain point with quest #15.

If you are near the end then you have probably lost him this time round.

If you have definitely collected the quest, when you get to Laymar, go right to the shabby quarter. Go to the right side, and near the wall, wandering around, is a guy with dark hair. That's Galton.

I couldn't go to Laymar when I took the vineyard quest / before searching for Enslan. Now I' ll see General Tyler with Enslan' paper, a map... and still can't go to Laymar. I've quest 12 fela challenge merchants, how to do it?
I' ll never go to Laymar then? :(

By the way, I couldn't pass the wood path 2 leading to Rake End as the tiles move when you go down, you pass at the tile above the path. ;) tablet version

You don't need to go to Laymar for the vineyard quest.

Once you've spoken to Tyler, then you can go to Laymar, not before. You can complete Q#12 by exploring around Laymar thoroughly.
