So..............................

I've finished another playthrough of Undefeated again, but I still have some unanswered questions especially about

Spoiler: show
Who is Naltus?
I mean like, everybody in Laymar knew he was a businessman and mines owner, but his appearance and words implied that he lived for many years and wanted the wasteland nation to thrive. Did he was corrupted by purple substances flowing from cave in that alter his appearance, or he was corrupted long time ago and pretend to be human and businessman ? Did he also work together with Parlan and Varnus?
