Hi!

I just finished up Rogue Mode, and when I looked into the information for Legendary Mode, it says that I can pick up a great weapon from the beginning, but I don't know where to find it.

Is there some place I need to go, or do I have to complete Legendary Mode to get it?

No, you get it at the beginning of World 1 to help complete the Legendary Mode, but...
I think there was a glitch.
Redownloading again should fix it, assuming you beat the final boss again or reload from a save just after beating it (there is auto-save doing that I think).
