on the screen, upper right there is something that looks like a sword or a knife. What is it for?

My fault, I probably should have explained it better... it indicated the mode you picked: small sword for easy, normal for normal, and red halo around the sword for hard.

I picked the Easy mode and didnt read the walkthrough re the Religion bit so i think all my characters are Religious

it's astrology, not religion

I'm on normal with, I think, a mix. Not sure. Annie has got astrology for sure, can't remember which i picked for Soleil, and tbh, I don't remember being asked for Mick and Jack. Was I?

I am in easy mode , I just entered 2nd part of GARGANTA HOLD. Trying to figure out how to get more money so I can buy the artifact in royal sunset from guy standing outside of building.

I was wondering that too. I picked normal mode. I'm being ridiculous in trying to find all of the secret rooms, so it's taking me forever. I picked Annie in not believing, so we'll see how it goes. So far I've found 19 out of 20 secret rooms. Still bumping in to everything to find the one I've missed (#18).

edit: Just found it! Whew, that's one I didn't want to miss. Now, to continue!

It may not be an artifact, can't exactly remember what he is selling but it's costs something like 2500.

It might be an Orb.

I've got the money, but you can't get back into Royal Sunset, and when you can access it at the beginning, you don't have the cash. I hope we can get back in at some stage, otherwise it's a waste of time offering it to us to buy.
