It's in the dirt ground before you enter the tower. I think (memory is a bit hazy on this) that it's towards the front edge of the map, after you've fought the first enemy. There might even be something which gives a visual hint, like a wisp of smoke or something. But don't rely on that, I could be mis-remembering that point.
