I'm really liking the battles sceneries, but I don't like those 3D enemies. It doesn't fit. But I like the side view system.

i agree with D-Squall! the 2 styles are very different and clash with each other! not a fan of 3D either!

They are not actually 3D as such, and were made for Ace.

It is because they are animated battlers, not the usual static ones, so when you see them in-game, you may get a different impression of them.

It's hardly the 1st RPG with this kind of difference between heroes and monsters.
It's very similar to the old classic Final Fantasy VI:

Btw, the more screenshots I see, the more I like the looks of TI. It has just a vibe that makes it stand apart from the other games.
