Secret Rooms

I'm missing #11 so far, but for now I want to postpone the search until I'm stronger.
So my question is, can I come back later in the game to where it is, or will there be a point of no return if I move on and leave it for now?

Well, I'm determined to find it. There's only two places it can be at, I believe (cuz I found #10 and #12). But I made the mistake to choose invisible monsters (although I know from the 2 previous games that the encounter rate is very high, duh!) and I got so tired of fighting while looking for the SR. So I'd rather come back when they are stronger and the fights won't take so long.

Yes, I was the situation, found 10 and 12.
I'm also on invisible monsters. It's when you're looking for the SRs that you wonder whether it was a mistake! +::biggrin

Yes, invisible monsters and SRs is not a good combination. +::fear

As much as I enjoy invisible monsters, it's not a good combination with Legendary mode either...

Alter the encounter rate in the menu so that they are reduced. If you push the slider towards 40 you will reduce the rate quite considerably.

And for the SR first a general clue. If that is no good, open the second spoiler and if that is no good, open the third.

No Legendary Mode for me! +::fear
I'm busy enough with Normal Mode!

Duh! I didn't even notice it can be reduced! That will help a lot when searching for the SRs.
Thanks for the clues, but I won't open any spoiler yet. I wanna find it myself! I'd just like to know if it's still possible later in the game.

If you ever play Legendary, pick visible encounters. You can outsmart the game much more easily like that.

I will!
Pick visible, I mean. But I won't play Legendary.
So ..... +::Dunno +::lol
DSC will remain the only game for me to play the hardest mode. Unless you make another one with similar rewards ......

Really? I think it makes levelling up easier, which is obviously important in Legendary mode.
It does get a bit much when looking for secret rooms though. +::tired

In Legendary Mode, you need to stay in control. So avoiding the enemies when you want, and levelling up against them when you want, are both very important.

Do they all respawn on visible?

iirc the ones in motion do, but some of the motionless ones don't.

You can for quite a while, but there does come a point when you can't return to this part of the world map. What I'm not clear about is exactly where you are up to.
