I always get the games on here, this is the first time I am buying one as soon as it is out.

I have a problem, whenever I leave/exit the game and want to come back to it, I get RGSS3 player stopped working and I have to restart the computer to get to play the game again. This is the only game where it happens to me. What can I do to stop it?

It did it when I downloaded the demo, and it still does it now that I have the full game.

Can you try if Common Man and Undefeated do the same thing?

I tried and they do now. They didn't do it before when I played them or even replayed them. I couldn't even open them just now, they tell me straight away that RGSS3 player isn't working when I tried.

There is obviously something that changed with your computer...

Do you know how I can figure out what changed?

EDIT: I seemed to have figured it out. My steam client was giving problems. I fixed it and so far, the game is running fine again. I tried Tale of the Common Man and it worked and I went in and came out of A Timely Intervention twice and I could go back in. I will watch it though to see if the problem returns.

Excellent news. It's very difficult to fix an obscure tech problem from distance I'm afraid...

I spoke too soon, it gave me the problem again today, so I am going to try and do a system restore. Will that affect my saved games? The restore is before I downloaded the game.

I dunno, but you could copy the savefiles somewhere, or email them to yourself.

Ok, where are the save files? in which folder?

C:\Users\[your user name]\AppData\Roaming\A Timely Intervention(Aldorlea Games)\Saves

If you cannot see the folder AppData, check in your preferences settings and check the option to show hidden files and folders.

I will try the system restore today, but it is only with those 3 RPG that I have the problem. Every other RPG game that I have works fine.
