Game Freezes and can't continnue

I am at the place where Jallund is by himself. I passed the boulders running across the room
A skeleton comes down from the left stairs and everything lights up blue. the skeleton is now going to the middle door but as he is at the steps, he just freezes
I can't do anything after that, he doesn't move, I can't press ESC. The water and the flames are moving but he isn't.

Accidentaly, I discovered a solution to this glitch.
You need to die at least once to these moving boulders, otherwise the cut-scene freezes.
In other words people encountering this were
too good for their own good.

I also am stuck Bylun Tower 3 ......... I have allowed myself to be hit by the rolling balls, but it still freezes. ....... I went back and got hit several times, still freezes. How do I get past this? Thanks.

Are you using an old version of the game?

No......... it shouldn't be an old version ... Just bought it last month. ATimelyIntervention-FULL---.exe 8/20/2015 .. size 189,973kb ??
