I am still stuck on Stoneborrow lake GLITCH

I landed on an island and eliminated the beasts. Now I cannot re-enter the row boat to move. When I try to reach the boat the screen changes and I can never enter the row boat. Please help

The screen is meant to change from the large scale map of the island to the smaller scale map of the whole lake. You'll notice that it does that in reverse when you land on the island.
Is this your first island? What you have to do is to go up to the boat and interact with it and you should enter it.

The boat changes position when I move towards it. It moves from the top of the pier to the side of the pier towards the bottom. When I try to interact with it in the lake screen I cannot reach it, and it changes to the island screen before I can interact with it.

This sounds unbelievably weird, and certainly not something that anyone else has reported.
How far back is your previous save file? Would you be able to pick up from there fairly easily and try to get to the same place again? If that's not possible, could you send me your save file so that I can have a look at it? Send it to:
