I've also found a way to make good money, relatively easily...

Yes you can sell them, but I used a lot in the last series of boss battles, so don't leave yourself short.

Oh, no, I just grind on the enemies that drop them till I max out, sell them, do it again. They're easy to obtain if you have patience. I keep around 20 in my inventory usually.
