I just checked that Golden Key out. It gives 51G after each fight. It's not like that's gonna make a big difference when you need to make thousands of gold coins .....

Hmm 20 fights = 1000 extra gold, it's quite fast IMO, especially if you target monsters that also bring some gold.
You can also explore places to find tons of equipments and weapons.

20 fights = 1000 extra gold

Thus for 10,000 G it would be 200 fights. And the good equipment does cost more than that (at the Tumulus there's stuff for over 20,000 G even). And I need to equip 4 people well enough.
Hence, 51G is just nothing. Also, not being able to remove that ring again is not very helpful either.

When you get further on in the game the Golden Key is a GGGRREEAATTT asset.

I equipped it and do not regret it....

Well, I did get to buy good equipment, but still I can't get any further now. Can't beat the boss at Dvorsky Tower and I gave up now. I don't think I got even close to the end of this fight.
I got so mad while trying again and again and again. There's no fun in this for me, so I did the only sane thing. I quit playing.
