I'm not sure what's happening with LF2 then. I'll send you a *.RAR package by PM instead of the usual *.EXE one to see if that helps.

I'm playing Dreamscape. While in Clochette's dream, i 'walked' along the bottom of an area (cliff) and got stuck - can only move left or right. I exited out, loaded a previous save and got stuck as well. Closed the game, tried to go back in but when I get to the opening menu, the start load awards exit all light up in quick succession. I tried hitting enter, but I was kicked out.

Help!!!

Hello, there. This is my first post in an Aldorlea forum. I have bought from Aldorlea's portal and played MM1, 2, 3 & 4.

Enjoyed all of them very much and, while looking forward to the release of MM5, decided to reply them all from scratch to try to get all the goodies, find all of the secret rooms and finish all the sidequests.

However, when I choose "hard mode" for MM1 it keeps showing Marine in normal mode only, though apparently accepting my choice (i.e., there is no error msg). When I first played it I did not choose hard mode, so obviously the problem did not occur.

I started from scratch a few times and always got the same result. I seem to have the latest build of the game, with choice of visible encounters or not, guiding arrows, etc. Could anyone give a hand with this, please? Thanks! +::sos

Hi, and welcome!
I believe the game does not show "Hard" anywhere, yet it IS in hard mode.
If you want, try looking in the questbook how many animal kings you can kill (ie out of 6, out of 8 etc.)
If it shows out of 8, then it is Hard mode.

I thought of this possibility, and I looked exactly at the number of animal kingdoms to check. The quest indicated "only" 8 animal kingdoms. Since I played MM3 & MM4 in hard mode, I assumed there would be more than 8 in this mode for MM1 too. +::O_o

I was also puzzled by the fact that the word "hard" does not appear anywhere. My bad!

P.S.: In my first post, I meant to say "...I decided to REPLAY (and not reply!) all of them in hard mode..."

Hard mode is fun once you start becoming a MM expert

As for it not appearing anywhere, I'll try to fix it when I get some time.

I have tried to download several games onto my new Windows 7 pc and most of them are saying Directx not initialized.
My computer keeps saying it can't download Asgaard at all, that there is something wrong with the download. The most bizarre thing is that it did let me download BoH and let me play. I've downloaded Directx 9.0 and still nothing. Do you have any advice? +::sos

Hi, directX 9.0 should be enough. I have Windows 7 too and they work fine.

Thank you for the download page, I was able to download Asguaard there. As far as the directx audio problem goes, I finally got that resolved, too. After going through all kinds of diagnostics, I called a tech person and they talked me through a few things. I had to actually hook up my speakers for it to work. I usually play in silent mode, so I never thought of that. +:oops:

The games are fine now. I am so relieved. Life would not be the same without your games.
BTW-all of the original games downloaded and played without problem. I am learning more about computers playing your games than I ever learned in class. I hope you have a good day.

Am replaying Laxius Force on my newer computer (Windows 7). the options:

quest
top 10
party

are all grayed out, and the A button does not work. How can I fix this?

They'll all be available in chapter 2.
