Okay, i know there is a previous question about this but that has been no help. I bought the guide to make sure I didn't miss as much as I did the first time around. But, the guide indicates you "Get the Pumpkin Icon after killing the big boss of the area".

Where do you "get it"? It's not a drop, unless it is random. I checked the immediate area, but no luck. I checked the first forest area after you pass through the cave. Again no luck.

WHERE IS THE PUMPKIN ICON?????????

I cannot continue the game until I find it.

You'll get it killing an optional boss in Venaen Forest.
The boss is marked in the guide as one of those "red spots".

Thank you! I try to not let the guide get in the way of thorough exploration, so I haven't read ahead in the guide. I must have missed the Forest Boss during my first play through, too.
