Better kidnapped than dead.

And although part of me fears it, I know that the Laxius story being so dark and tragic sometimes is the reason why it is so good. If it would be a "big AAA game", I would be sure that Random, Sarah and Luciana will stay alive and "live happily ever after", but when it comes to Laxius, it's not granted at all.

Hhmmm, unlikely that Indy will repeat a plot device like that so soon. Anyway, the demons have yet to break through into the world of Aquapanga, as the cycle is not yet quite complete (do hope I've remembered all this correctly!) so one of them couldn't have already colonised someone the way Cassandra did Jordan. She needed a host because in many ways she was weak (Demon of Nothing), whereas a true demon is powerful and so won't need to be in disguise.

Are you persuaded?

Hhmmm, unlikely that Indy will repeat a plot device like that so soon.

She needed a host because in many ways she was weak (Demon of Nothing), whereas a true demon is powerful and so won't need to be in disguise.

Well she was Zalerus' attempt at creating the perfect demon (representing his country) but it didn't quite work out.
She is weak-minded but has the biggest power of them all.
