I enjoy novelty knitting and here's a couple I've done for my grandson.

Be careful if you make a woman cry because God counts her tears
Woman came out of a man's rib
Not from his feet to be walked on
Not from his head to be superior but from the side to be equal
Under the arm to be protected and next to the heart to be loved

Oh they are great. My son would have gone crazy for the Thomas one a few years ago - now Lightsabers and Harry Potter are all that matters lol.

I'm trying to knit things as I have found I enjoy using a spinning wheel but I have a tendon problem that makes holding the needles hurt.

Love the fuzzy lion too - you are good at it :)

I love knitting. I learned by making myself a bedjacket when I was just 7 years old (be 60 this year so thats a looooong time ago)
When my first marriage broke up I earned extra money by knitting designer knits (one ofs) and selling them to a boutique in the city. i got about $100 per garment and they sold for 250-300. That was when picture knits and designer knits were fashionable.
Its such a relaxing hobby. Can't knit in summer here, too hot and humid. Still enjoy tapestry/needlepoint, some patchwork and anything by Kaffe Fasset :)

I love knitting but as I have arthritis it's difficult now, I use bamboo needles and these help a little once you get used to them bending +::O_o +::biggrin

Wow, that's fantastic. I tried knitting, but was as bad at it as sketching! Guess the only thing
I can do is write! You are good at so many things, Bodeia!

Well he's 4 now and is starting to get "fashion" sense (don't remember ever having that) so sometimes he's a little antsy about the things I knit and he'll come tell me what he want +::O_o - I'm looking for a ben10 knit at the moment but will probably have to recreate it myself like I did with the Thomas Tank. +::sos

I especially love the lion! It's so adorable, I want to squeeze it! +
Since I was a kid, I've always wanted to learn how to knit but I don't have much time to learn. +::biggrin

When I was around 7 or 8 I used to like to make macrame. I know I am a guy. +

Very nice what you have made.

My Auntie always liked knitting hats, scarfs and mittens for me when I was a little boy

Thank You
