Io Kusanagi's Gallery

Here's where I'll be posting drawings or paintings that I do. I like to get feedback on my drawings so that I can improve.

For the First Entry, I think I'll post some profiling samples. I like to use one of three main art styles, or a hybrid of two.

Heavy Outline Style:

Colored Outline Style (A.k.a. MLP Style):

and Semi Realism (A Hybrid of Manga style with Realistic or Japanese CGI Like Elements):

One of my main weaknesses when drawing things is proportions and anatomy, which at times may seem extended or distorted from its intended perspective. But I've been told I tend to oversaturate with color and have started practicing on enviromental lighting and how it affects shading.

Maybe I'll try drawing the characters from RPG's as practice.

Your drawings reminds me of a game called Ookami, have you played? Look on google for it, the fox and wolf thing looks similar to your arts.

You are very talented! I wish I could draw like that! I can draw by hand, but only copy stuff. I can't imagine things well enough in my mind to bring them down on the paper. If you give me a finished drawing though I'll copy it (freely, not by putting the original under my sheet of paper) and it will look very much the same.
Not very useful ..... I call it my semi-talent, hehehe.

Welcome here btw! :)

I haven't really played any of Indinera's games yet. Do you mind posting a few character reference pictures?

I'm still sorting out what I like to call my list of Weird Ideas: Ideas that I thought would make some great pictures, many of which I would like to see actually done.

You should make some Aldorlea-related art, I'd feature them on the forum and website. ;)
