What do you enjoy exploring?

I like exploring all types of areas but I do not like linear games.

I play Rpgs for the enjoyment of exploring. If the game is only playable one way, it takes the enjoyment out of it.

Let me go into the hard places first. If I get my butt kicked, I will leave and go somewhere else. Let the player decide the order.

I suppose for me, I like unusual and unique places. I could cite the ancient temple in Millennium 1 as an example. The tilesets used to create the innards of that place were deffinately something new (I still go back there just to listen to the music, too).
