All of Aldorlea games I tried used to run fine on my old notebook/netbook Eee PC 901 with Win XP.
Now I have Eee PC 1215N, Win 7 Home Premium 32 Bit, DirectX 11, two graphic cards, primary Intel and NVidia ION. No matter under which one I run the game, some of them (Arevan, Vastar for example) are really choppy and slow. Sylia is ok though...
Anyone know how to solve this problem? Drivers doesn´t need actualization, I tried to change compatibility, I tried to set lower hw acceleration, but in normal mode system won´t let me get there and in safe mode I can get there, but it won´t save changes...
Can you help?

Do you have problems with some Aldorlea games and not others?
I'm asking because the technical structure should be the same for all of them...

Currently I have installed two games. Sylia and Arevan. Sylia is working fine, but Arevan doesn´t. I found some solution:

I had the same problem when I started using win 7 and played rmxp games

You can try two things:
1.Run your games in XP Compatibility mode.But since that doesn't work....

2.Install Directx 9..even if you have Dx10 or Dx11,install Dx9 again

(It worked for me...even though the instalelr said I had a newer version of Dx 11

)

Found a patch now (I had bought old version and did not finished on old PC, that´s why I wanted to play it now) and with this patch it WORKS!!!

However, there are still some games I bought before, that are still choppy on my new notebook with win7 so I´d still like to know, how to solve it...???

Try running the games in fullscreen. (You can use Alt+Enter to change between fullscreen and window mode)

You can also try disabling some of the Aero features:
1. Go to View advanced system settings
2. Click Settings in the Performance area.

Try to uncheck the following items

Enable Aero Peek
Enable desktop composition
Enable transparent glass

Please do tell if anything helps.

Last two Laxius are working, Sylia is ok, and now the Arevan is working too...

Choppy games are:
Vastar
Lilly and Sasha - first one, didn´t try second yet.

I have more games, but they are on other HDD, which I have not at home right now... After I get it, I can try more games. All of them are full (I payed for them) and all of them worked fine on XP. Only one that was choppy on my old notebook was Dawn´s light, but I remember that it ran fine too after disable something in options.

to Zeriab: Thank you for advice, but Aero is already disabled on my notebook, I didn´t like it and I tried my W7 look as much as XP as possible...

Have you tried checking/unchecking the 'Smooth mode' option inside the game,after pressing the F1 button?

Yes, I tried that... Almost no effect.

I don´t think that I am the only one with this problem, otherwise I wouldn´t found that patch...
It´s kind of sad, that I can´t play my favourite games on notebook, where I can play Fallout New Vegas... :D
