can play one game on 2 PC?

I happen to be on my PC and on my boyfriend's, I tried playing a game on his from my USB key. Failure it recognizes it's a different PC, there's the demo window. I'll begin LF3 so... I'd like to play both at my home and at his, is it possible if I prove my identity sending a mail asking for another key number? cos of course I couldn't reuse mine.
