Maybe it would be more interesting to have four options in the poll instead of these two:
- Played LF first, preferred LF
- Played LF first, preferred MM
- Played MM first, preferred LF
- Played MM first, preferred LF
I mean, playing LP back then changed the way I look at games. But once this "shift" happens, it cannot be done again by a similar experience. Thus, maybe, If I played MM first, I would perceive it better than LF now - it's really hard to say.

I agree with Tomas, when I see this poll I imediatly thought: "Laxius is gonna win, Aldorlea began with Laxius Force, Indy made Laxius Power first".
And though Millennium is one of the best games ever, Laxius Force has so much story behind it (not talking about what has to come, but what Random and friends has been through), I prefer Laxius because it was thanks to this game that I found out about other Indy's games... not just the commercial ones but the free ones like Blades of Heaven.

For me it doesn't make a difference that I played LF first. The game captured me much more from the start than MM could. I didn't play that series, I lived it, which I can't say about MM.
Also in MM4 there are a lot of things that I personally consider flaws. I'll see if MM5 can make up for that, but I still don't think it will change my mind about the comparison between the two series.

For me I played MM1 first and got hooked - did not think that I would enjoy Laxius but started the game LF1 and found that I needed to get to know the story better so went back and started the LP series WOW I really loved the whole of the Laxius series incl. 3 Stars and I agree with Cassie I LIVED the series - the characters became part of my world or vice-versa so it is really hard to compare two different games and concepts +::

I know that, for the sake of the poll you were meant to assume MM5 would live up to the standards of the past ones.
Other than that, thanks to all voters so far. Interesting results, Laxius is ahead!

It's hard to choose between "apples and oranges" in this situation. I prefer "bacon" above all else
Both series are wonderful Indy, so just be proud of both
The experiences may sort of be the same, but the stories split drastically where on one hand, you have a storyline that ranges from the everday to the fantasy outer worlds. Besides...who can resist an angel, of sorts
While on the other, you have a storyline that will span a continent with its range of climates and the villains are some you really want to pound (LM and LB
) So both are up there...just extremely different because it's been mentioned before...we've "lived" the trials and tribulations with Random and Sarah through a truly marvelous number of games, whereas with MM, we don't have as much of an opportunity of time with them.

Yup it's a cool title. But so is Beyond Sunset IMO, very evocative.

The Last Stand - these three words always made me shiver, when I tried to imagine what it would be like prior to the release. But I still must admit that Beyond Sunset sounds pretty cool.

after the GC is dead and they need to escape Astral-Litz.
