I'm really sorry if I'm posting in wrong place as this forum is new to me. I wanted to know if any of the Millenium games guides could give me definitions of all the STATS and what protection colors mean, promotions, etc. I'm playing but not sure sometimes what I'm doing. Thank you so much.

I believe that the playing basics are covered well in the official guide, otherwise you can find some of it (Promotions and so on) here on the forum.
