Yes, playing with animals is something we don't get that much. Can't wait to see that little monkey in action in your new game! +::clap

Hmm, getting back on the subject. :P

Ok, I've just started this game (after finishing TBOL). I'm just after the trial, on my way to Rillia, but my question concerns the trial : there was a sword in the floor asking for 340 strengh to get. I was only 260 or so, so I've let it there. Does it worth some leveling to get or shouldn't I worry about that?

Also, will I get the chance to go back in Mt Zulle later for quests?

It's just a platinum sword, it's nothing major. :)

And yes, after the game ends, you will be able to return to Mt. Zulle.

I don't agree. At this stage of the game I think a Platinum Sword is quite useful to have.

What I did (I think, it's been ages since I played) was do everything I could before going up for the final fight so that I'd done all the levelling up I could, and then got a strength boost from the witch somewhere near the beginning of the dungeon.

And while it's true that you can get back to Mt Zulle later, you never get back to this particular dungeon - though by then, you have no real reason to want to.

My opinion is, it's not a bad sword. But it's also not the best you can get at that point. At the Cave of Fal there's a Spirit of the Pond that you can fight, and one possible reward is the Thunder Sword. I personally always replay that fight until I get it. Not only is it a powerful sword, it can also numb the enemy. +::Thumbup

Ok thanks.
I won't go back since I forgot I've lost the save by saving on it just after the trial, but I'll know for my next playthrough. I'm now stuck in the catacomb since I'm not strong enough for the boss there. +::cry

Yes, that's really really tough. If I remember correctly he's weak to ice. Try to use ice spells and if you have the Ice Sword it will certainly help too.
Don't waste time on keeping Baretta alive. All she's good for is heal up the others for a while, but at some point it gets too annoying healing HER up. So just let her die and fightt with the rest of the bunch.
If you're still not able to defeat him, you might want to go back to a previous save file and level up. If you leave the crypt without defeating Uzair, you'll lose Baretta for good.

Yeah, I know that. :(

But I have a save previous from the crypt.
I'll check the swords I have. Thanks for the tips.
