I went to the second village before going back to find Baretta. Do you need her in order to finish the game? If so, is there a savegame someone has that I can have as I am beyond the Marshlands now and just found out about this? Thanks

No, Baretta is an optional character. You can finish the game without her.

ive been trouble finding baretta in the sewer and batabog cant join my party..but thats ok,cuase i finish the game..

I have gone to the tribal village first, before finding the tomb.
Now that I have eventually found the tomb, there is no Baretta, and the Tomb is locked. Does this mean that I will not be able to do this area?
Also will it affect the game if I don't complete the Tomb quest?

Seems like you've missed that quest.
The tomb is not mandatory and neither is Baretta. But she can be useful for some things. She's not a good fighter, but she can for instance improve artefact weapons.

You need to find the tomb before you find the village, otherwise she vanishes.
