You need to walk without stoping, precisely... just keep pressed and don't take the finger out of the key.

Just walk up without stop, the key I meant was the arrow up.

walk up to the second line in the stairs of nevenmore to get the laxius armor and when you are in the chest just press ^ arrow button up to get it.Just said in the walkthrough the whole thing is 1minute and 30 seconds and i believe you can do it.

The stairs should end shortly after the red chest.
The trick is not to stop on the stairs or change directions. Then the stairs will never end. If you just run-run-run it doesn't take more than a minute.

The way how Stairs of Nevermore work is that you need to hold the "Up" arrow key all the time. It's releasing the key what triggers the "infinite stairs". I.e. it's possible to "get stuck" behind the chest, open it by pressing enter and then continue as long as the "Up" key remains pressed. (I remember that it was quite painful to do on notebook, because the Up key was almost impossible to keep pressed for so long.)

well,it says on the walkthough the whole thing should be 1min30sec and when i look at in the clock it really is!

Hmmm .... I think I know why. In your game it certainly takes take time, you're right.
