Update: I went through the hall one more time and found what I needed! Whew~

I'm following the walkthrough for my 3rd playthrough and am fighting the hall of reflections once again. lol I get to the pink flame; my first problem is finding how to "go up to the next blank screen and fight the manthra soul again." The going up part bogs me, but I think I've found it. Then it says to "go back down and see a ghost in the previous blank screen." Check, there's a ghost, but it doesn't take me to the room with a daghamaen rod. It takes me to the room with the wizardry card and some powders.

So, how do I find the blank screen and the ghost that will take me to the room with the dag rod? I have found everything else and would love to finish up this torture site. Thanks.

Yeah, that area is one of the more difficult ones to navigate, let alone trying to describe how to do so in writing. Congrats on finding it though.
