This is my first time playing LF1 and am trying not to use help, but I'm totally stumped on how to get this guy off the crest. I did refer to the walkthrough (which is great!) and it says to say "Sarah is a witty elf". Can't figure out how to do that.
Help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I think trying repeatedly is the key, try all the options until things progress.... but it's been a while since I've played LF1....
