Poisoned after Khomre

I'm having trouble after leaving Khomre. Every time I get back to the travelling village, both Random and Sarah are poisoned. I try to heal them with Sarah's spells, also tried with the Buala herb, as well as staying at the inn, but they keep getting poisoned. After I came across this problem, I went back to a save and had the priest on the mountain "remove" the poison for 2G, AND then went swimming in the water (at the bottom of the mountain) to try to remove the poison. Nothing works, HELP!

This is because you have in your inventory the "Reeker Bulb".
This nasty bulb will poison your characters all the time, until you get rid of it.
