Yes as he mentionned in his review, he also tried Sylia and DSC, but LF is the one he liked best, which is logical imo (DSC has a great gameplay but doesn't quite compare in terms of story and characters)

He also seems to be quite objective - for example he wrote that he was frustrated from Sylia because some artifacts were too hard to find, but he didn't "bash" the game for it and just concluded that it's "more for the hardcore RPG lovers", which seems quite fair to me.

I think he is an excellent reviewer, true.
When I first read his cover of Sylia I could see no desire to harm the game or be nasty unnecessarily. He is a reviewer but also a player.

Great review for LF!!!!!

I read the other two as well though and I just cannot agree about Sylia. He says it's a hard game and only for hardcore RPG fans. When I played the game I thought the exact contrary. I thought, maybe that's a game I can convince my sister with to start playing RPGs too. Yes, some dungeons are huge, but the screens are numbered, which helps greatly. And yes, that item he talked about can be easily missed. But in LF there are much more things you can miss. Things you have to do in a certain order, time limited quests ... I think LF is harder than Sylia.
The LF series is still on top of my favorite list, so I think good reviews are well deserved.
But Sylia is an awesome game too and imo it deserves MUCH better critics than it got so far.
I read, that one reviewer even said, buying the game is silly. Not only is it quite insolent to say such thing because that's not an objective way to criticize. It's also very offensive towards those (like me) who did buy the game (and even enjoyed it).

So congratulations for the good LF review, but I also want to say,
