how much money should I get to buy 99 pappalis powder and 99 burning ground spells ? am I too late to play LF1 ?

As for the money, well a quick calculation will give you the answer, just look at their prices in a shop. ^^

You're not annoying lol it's a matter of what you want to achieve in the game. In most cases 50 of them is enough, yes.

I wish that bit wasn't in the walkthrough, or rather, didn't make it sound like you absolutely have to have them. +::Dunno

You don't need XP eggs, and burning grounds are by no means a prerequisite to beating the game. I think the general tone of the walkthrough becomes less demanding and more suggestive as the walkthrough goes on; this is one bit that just seems out of place.

You should not rely too much on the walkthrough when it's about things like that.
If an item you find is needed for a quest it will be mentioned. Everything else is just a suggestion.

As for these two items ... I don't even remember what Pappalis Powder was. I don't think I ever used them.
The Burning Ground however is very useful, but at the point where you are now you won't need them anytime soon.
So if you still can't afford them go ahead with your quests. If you follow the walkthrough, you will have enough money to buy them before you leave that part of the Deport for good.
