I am on the quest to get the purity ring. But, when I try to get inside the chasm, random just keeps on saying the chest is empty. What is going on? +::sos

Well to do it, you need to beat the mimic in the chest, push the chest across the cave on the other side, then inspect the chest and you'll jump across. Make sure you bury her with her belongings and have the reeker bulb when you do so.

Don't know if it's been fixed, but a bit of a bug has crept in with the mimic chest. You can push it around, but it doesn't attack you. If that is what's happening, go to the edge of the chasm, left of centre, and try jumping from there.

I thought, you open it, the mimic attacks you, then you can push it around. Because frankly the bug you said never happened to me... +:::|

It's a very recent one. I downloaded the latest version a couple of months ago when I got a new laptop, and there it was. Threw me for a while, because I'd played the original several times and knew exactly what was supposed to happen. Don't know if it's been fixed, but if it has, then possibly sewnsew might need to re-download it.

Perhaps the bug has been fixed, and it's only if you've got the version before that which has it.

I jumped over the chasm, buried the girl with her things, fell into the chasm, and now can't get out. Walkthrough says to push the lava rock, wait 30 seconds and a river to get into will form. I've pushed the lava rock all it will go and have stood there but can't get out. . . and Random slowly dies. . . Help!

You have to push the hot rock close to the little pool.

I did push the rock there. . . nothing else happens. . .

Random keeps saying, Just a few more goes, or I hate moving this thing, over and over and over, but nothing more happens with the rock.

Then you just have to wait, if you moved right the smoke in the rock will be more thick and then the place will change.

Well, I'm completely baffled. . . I pushed it once, and that's all it will move. I tried pushing it from every possible angle, and one move is all I get. Then. . . nothing. Is the rock supposed to go IN the pool? I'm ready to give up completely. . .'
