Well, I surely finished the main quest, but given that I can export a savefile to LF2, I suppose that completing as many side quests as possible is a good idea.

Yes it probably is, although most sidequests are carried over to LF2, iirc :)

Hello, I checked the link and is still working. I downloaded LP1, but the texts are almost impossible to read, and this makes the game much less enjoyable.
I tried to use compatibility tricks like 256 colors, reduced resolution, XP mode and so on (I'm running Seven) but with no results. Any suggestion? +::surrender

I found this on the Laxiusgames forum:

Go to your lp folder then go to 123_lp_instructions.
Find the font files (eg. RM2000) copy ALL of these then go to: C:/Windows/Fonts or whatever place your windows fonts are stored and then paste the copied files in there and say "yes to all".

If you can't see that 123_lp_instructions you might not have activated to show hidden files.

edit: You beat me on this, Cassie. +::grrr I'll just add that it's probably better to install the fonts by simply opening the files and choosing Install, no need to copy-paste.

Ops, that font thing again... Ok thank you for the suggestion, I'll have a try tonight.

Yeah, and I like old games!! Maybe because I'm not that young myself +::biggrin

The first adventure game I played was ROGUE, a pure text adventure available on Unix... does someone remember?

Then, when I switched to MS-DOS/Win 3, I played Moria.

BTW this was a great way to learn English +::lol

Note that I like mega-graphics games as well, like MOHAA, but they are definitely not RPGs. What I like in your games - and similar "old school" games as well - is that the player MUST integrate the game with his/her own imagination and phantasy.

Old, but cool. And still worth playing, especially if you want to know our Laxius heroes' history.
