Noona Quest?

Hello,
I know it is impossible to beat Noona in the race, but will the quest always remain in the quest book? I'd rather not challenge her then have it stay permanently in the quest book. Is it possible to accept the quest but get rid of it later?

I think it will stay in the quest book, but I'm not 100% sure.

It should disappear from the quest log after importing into LF2, if not before.

Great, thanks! I know it's a silly question, but I'm a super OCD completionist and having that quest there for all three games would have driven me crazy! Thanks again.
