Hi there. So, after beating the original Laxius Power trilogy for the first time, I went right into replaying the Laxius Force games. I just beat the first LF last night, and was all set to import into LF2, but I seem to be having some difficulties. No matter what I do, LF2 doesn't want to import my finished save file from LF1. Also, here are my current save directories for both games:

C:\Users\Kyle Anderson\AppData\Roaming\LaxiusForceI_Saves

C:\Users\Kyle Anderson\AppData\Roaming\LaxiusForceII_Saves

If someone can help me out here, it would be much appreciated.

Never mind; I changed the name of the Laxius Force save files to just plain LaxiusForce, and that seemed to do it.

Indeed, LF1 and LF2 save directories don't follow the same patterns. For LF3, it's LaxiusForceIII_Saves, though.
