So, hey there guys. I need help with Alise's Tournament. So far I beat her with four characters, Random, Louis, Askhbar and Marion. I know I don't have to hurry since I can beat them in Chapter 6, but Sandy leaves before that, and I especially need a strategy to beat Alise with her. What I did so far was giving him the Linderitz Scimitar so she attacks twice, Key of The Hero, Orb of Chaos, and zombifying her. She manages to make it up to Kido with no sweat, but then she starts missing a lot and Kido kills her. If she does manage to kill Kido, Alise kills her. So, I need strategies. I am at the beginning of Chapter 4, but I am kinda short on cash, which is why I want to beat her with all my characters now. Oh, for the record, my levels are:

Random 43, Sarah 36, Cocka-Cocka 37, Wendala 37, Brussian 36, Marion 36, Askhbar 34, Sandy 35, Louis 26, Herbert 26, Joshua 25.

I'd love to hear some tips! I mainly need them for Sandy, but I could use them with any other character that I haven't beaten yet!

I has been quite a long time since I did the tournament. But as far as I remember, a bit of levelling always helps.
Also, Orb of Chaos is not good for weak characters. You cannot heal between fights and so on. You just need a good enough spell to kill Alise in one hit and pray for surviving her first attack. I don't remember if there was such a spell available for Sandy, though.

I know a bit of levelling helps, I just wanna use it as the very last resort... Thanks anyway!

Okay, did it with all characters except Sandy, Herbert and CC. With Herbert I'll wait till I can get Aura Bomb, but with the other two, I see no option but to level. CC's Defense is too low, so even though he has like about 900 HP, he dies with like 2 hits from Alise. And Sandy is lucky if she can make it to Alise. I tried the evade strategy, but Sandy can't equip the Monk Bracers... I am almost done with Chapter 4 quests, but not entirely.

Level 37 is not enough for CC, I guess. But once he gets faster then Alise he should have no difficulties to win.

He is faster than her, he hits first, but he isn't strong enough to take her out in his first hit... I knew I should have chosen easy...

This has bugged me for awhile, so I actually fact checked this beforehand.

Alise *can* be hit with the paralysis status effect, using the paralysis bomb item. It's a low chance to connect though, maybe 20%, so this is most practical for characters that can act before Alise.

It's possible you could change up your equipment to speed up Sandy and Herbert, but then they'd have a harder time just getting to Alise. Worst case, you could always grind attempts till you manage an evade + paralysis combo to take on round 1 versus Alise.

Just equip Herbert with the Legendary Helmet for Yveensake!!!!!!!!!!

I AM DOING THAT, BUT HE IS NATURALLY SLOW SO HE ALWAYS MISSES! But with what Kale said I think I can do it. I have about 10 Paral Bombs, so, what better time to use them than NOW!

Well of course I was addressing the "he is too slow" issue.

Okay, with luck and Kale's strategy, I did it with Sandy. I gave her my Crystal Madu, which I don't know where I got from, and an Exo Ring, and she had like 281 PDEF. And luckily, she was able to Paralyze Alise on the first try, so, problem solved! Now got CC and Herb to deal with, but like I said, I'll wait for Aura Bomb with Herb.

Umm, in Chapter 6 now, about to go to Arvendel, and I can't beat Alise with Tara. I beat her with Herasia, Luci, Guanidia, Rosa, and EVEN Petula, but I fail with her. Any tips?

What level is your Tara?

OH, I forgot to post here that I did manage to do it. She was 33, but luckily, I managed to Paralyse Alise again! In Arvendel now, and god...
