Feather Mattress and Bird Nest

I'm having trouble using the mattress with the bird's nest. Can you help me out here?

Check your inventory and make sure you have both of them with you. Now inspect feather matress and type BIRD NEST after clearing the previous letters (press escape/x buttons)

Hope that helps! Also just check the spelling. It should be typed exactly as you see it in the inventory
