Indeed this is a mystery that I think only time (and release) will solve.

I have a question not about the story, but about the interface, will this be completely mouse driven as In Millenium?

MM was designed to be played with the mouse

In Asguaard the mouse will be optional and wont indicate many gameplay things (shoes, magnifying glass etc.) like in MM.

The mouse gameplay is specific to the MM series.

I can't remain quiet for long... +::lol Soooo, a few more technical questions:

Saves - anywhere or at specific spots?

Monsters - hidden random encounters or fixed number with visible sprites or a bit of both?

Places - all visitable at any time or will certain areas be closed later in the game (not counting with secret or magic rooms)? With this question I mean to ask if it's resembling LF where progression in chapters blocks you from previous areas or if the whole world will remain open to us?

You mean like when you hover the mouse over a barrel, the mouse turns into a magnifying glass?

No it wont, this is specific to MM.
I want my other games to be played by keyboard or mouse without any of them giving advantage on the other.
MM was a different kind of work for me, more casual. Asguaard is more like 3 Stars, it's complex and very long.

LOL

I bet you'll like Asguaard if you like my core style

Also, imho, the story in Asguaard is amazing. That should be my best story so far when it's out, until some realllllly serious contestants come, like Legend, MM5 (obviously the final shall be the best lol) or Laxius Force 3.

Since we are getting close to the release date, do you think you could post another screenshot giving us a glimpse of something.

Hmmmm nah, not yet lol I need to be sure I can meet my release date, and with all the side events that has happened lately (like the BFG release of MM for instance), it's a bit harder.

Ok so let's try a summary of what we know so far about the story. Maybe that will keep our imagination entertained for longer...

1) There will be loads of fairies and mining dwarfs

2) At least 4 characters (given the usual party size) - two of which non-humans and a third I suspect will be the girl in the teaser photo which was released months ago...

3) Quests will be mainly story driven with few side quests

4) We will hear about an evil plot when we reach 1/5 into the game

5) Starting place will be Roya, situated in an icy region of the HUGE map

5) Bokden will be there somewhere - places he hasn't visited are rare it seems!

Anyone else can remember something?
