Question about end of game (no spoiler)

Is Asguaard castle the end of the game? B/c I'm there now, and there are a few things I'd like to do (like go to the last shrine) before hand. Thanks!

Yes it is but you can go through it as long as you don't fight the last battle and still leave and come back.
