Getting Guru axe...problem

I just bought this game and downloaded it on July 20 of this year and I just got to Kremdjir Town and talk to Garande and what dee0227 posted about the getting guru axe the EXACT same thing is happening to me. See dee0227 post Is this a bug/glitch??? I posted my problem in dee's thread but I guess it is too old of a post to show up, so I am posting my own about this.

Garande says I need to be master first, Axe-god says I am master axe. My skill says axe(E) my status says master axe. I am playing on easy mode and Grom's level is 52. Does he need a higher level to get guru axe?

It's really weird, cuz in my version of the game, it's fixed.
You downloaded the game from Aldorlea, right?

This was still a problem for me. My Grom went to the axe master in the center of the world and was granted "master status", except on the skill list it still said he was an expert. I tried asking the master trainer again while I was at the center of the world, but he said you are already a master. So, I figured that it worked, it just wasn't showing up. But, when I got to the guru, he said you need to be a master first.

I downloaded the game again last week to make sure I had a recent version and I backtracked all the way to Axe-God in the ancient lands and he too said Grom was already a master even though Grom was still listed as an expert on the skill list. Upon returning to Kremdjir, I still couldn't get guru status.

I finished the game without it, but it does seem to be a problem for some.

I'd like to know where can you master musculation and sword please.. is it at Kremdjir?

Me too, exactly. How does Grom get to be an Axe Guru? He's standing there with "Master Axe" under his name and can't get it...

have you downloaded the game recently?
i thought this was fixed... if you tell me the place you try to promote him guru i can look it up for you ^^

Nope. I downloaded the game again, but Garande still says I have to be Master first, which is silly, since I got that in the Center of the Earth (and it says "Master Axe" under Grom's name anyway). Any ideas?
