I found Farfalle in the Hyperbole Cave, selling Master Pathfinder; I left and got the Expert Pathfinder and then came back. Farfalle is gone. The save fairy is still there, but he's nowhere... What now?

Are you sure it's the same place. I don't think there would be any reason for her to disappear. Try to go to her position and see if it's not a visual glitch (rare, but I've seen it happening)
