Cannot get to first base with those Abhors. I am getting wiped out before I can even start. I noticed someone else posted this and D-Squall responded to try this and posted a download. But that was quite some time ago and I cannot open file since I have Windows 7. Any suggestions how to beat those bunnies?

the real key to success is Luby's "stone" skill. If she hasn't got it yet, level her up until she has. I found that stoning them was the only way to stop the bunnies wiping me out.

You get a great sword as a reward.

Maybe you are too weak to fight those monsters now, try to come back later when you're stronger.
