I am baffled too :( I didn't have any problems with any rpg made by you or others and this the first time that I too have no idea what the problem is +::Annoyed . Thanks for your quick replies Indy +::Thumbup And yes please look into this problem as judging by reviews, I really want to play this game.

Edit:I got setup for v1.4 from a friend and it's also not working!!

I got it working. I uninstalled everything for both 1.3 & 1.5, I copid save files BOTM_SAVES
to desktop and then deleted the system save files. I redownloaded 1.5 version, it for some reason still asked me if I wanted to import saves, I said yes. It still didnt work. I pulled up save files for 1.5 version and it was empty, so I copied off the desktop where I copied it to before deleting system file
and it worked. So long story short..... I am back playing again !!!

So Indy, Any progress on why I can't play the game. +::Annoyed When all other rpgs are working fine why is this one not working? +::Dunno I really want to play this game and so far none of the previous versions have worked for me. I tried looking for a solution at amaranthia.com technical faqs, turned off DEP,updated codecs and did whatever was written there but no use +::Annoyed

I haven't talked to Zeriab since last time.
A computer is a complex (complicated) machine and sometimes it's hardly possible to know what's wrong.
The only evidence is that loads of people have been able to run this game..... it was programmed the same way as, say, 3 Stars, so figuring out the problem is like progressing in the dark. +::Dunno

I managed to run the game,finally.If the game was crashing at startup,it should have been the music at intro screen that's causing the problem and yes it was.I noticed the startup music was in .mp3 while all others in .wav.So, I just converted .mp3 to .wav and replaced the .mp3 file and Voila!!, game now runs.

Playing now, although my 7 minutes of trial were wasted in troubleshooting :razz: but yes it's a great game and I will definitely buy it. +::Thumbup

BTW: Indy, I think the game music should all be in same format i.e. in wav or ogg or mp3 so that these type of problems don't occur. I don't know how all other games were running with music in different formats but not "Millenium". But, hey all is well that ends well. ;)

I just got a new computer with a wide screen so of course I have to replay Laxius Force and then Laxius Force II. My problem is that my game shows all wide and short. Is there a way to set the game so that everything can look normal?

It looks like a computer issue.
Try to see what ALT + ENTER does and if it helps.

Tried the Alt Enter and it made it really small so I think you are right that it is something in my settings. I will have to figure it out or just play as is. Thanks :)

Great game! I keep getting a crash msg when I try to go to Thieve's den, however. The msg says to hold F8, but crash error occurs anyway when trying to access the Td. Help? (I really, REALLY want that treasure chest key!)

Hi, you must be using the map in MM2 right?
It does not work in MM2 and is not intended to.
It should work perfectly fine in MM1 though lol

Yeppers, works fine in MM1, but the thieves I beat up on the road to the main city give me more maps to the hideout, which, now you tell me, cannot be accessed at all. Oh sniff. Thanks for the speedy answer. +::Thumbup
