bear meat 1 cent?

bear meat 1 cent?

As soon as I saw no gold dropped, I knew I would have to sell the dfwings and honey. I don't mind this, I used my rest area and leveled up and caught many muskrats! I think what people are having trouble with is, in the woods(Chantefleur) you fight mainly spiders that drop nothing. Bear meat is only a penny, while muskrat meat is 2 cents. Then comes the swamp with spiders that drop nothing and a ivy that rarely drops mandrake dust. Yes I think we may be Laxius minded. You can just walk a little and hit a village. Here you Have to go through something like a cave or several fields. For the most part I like it and love the game! Maybe if bear meat had been even 3 cents, it would have helped some out a little?

if the bear meat is not good at selling, you can also keep it and use it, no? +::Thumbup

And you can find a Noble Ring. It makes your money go up on sells so that at some places you get 2 cents for Dragonfly wings and 8 cents for Raw Honey. You get higher prices at different places on some items too. Dragonfly wings are 2 cents at the store where Marine's home is. If you are careful and only buy those items that are really necessities you can get through until the part of the game where you get big money. The thieves drop 500+ gold every time.

I think it's great! I haven't bought anything yet for HP. Was just reading some of the money problems. I have so much feline meat! Walked around at 0 min. steps between fight.

I find that I am using Marine's ability to change the encounter rate quite often.
If I am out to level up, or find items to sell, I'll change that rate to 0.

If I have to back track somewhere for some quest related reason or whatever, and don't want to fight I'll change this setting to 50.

I do find the selling price of meats to be very low though, even with the noble ring.

There is not much that can be done though for money early in the game it seems.

If your going for realism in these games, I would imagine that shopkeepers would pay more than a couple dollars for animal meat.

Her wealth and background should have nothing to do with shopkeepers item value.

This game attempts a bit more of realism yes.
It would be boring if all games were the same, no?
