What's the number of playable characters in this game? I usually like games that have more playable characters than just the amount you can have in battle. I played Asguaard, and I didn't much care for either Luby, the dwarf, or the main guy. And how many playable in this game are permanent playable characters?

Hmmm if this is your main criteria you won't like Millennium 1 much then (MM2 will be more to your liking btw).

Yes, I love games with a lot of characters, and coming from Millennium, the characters should be awesome.

I am guessing 4 characters are in this game though. I have 3 currently, though I am unsure if Karine is going to stay with my team after the swamp...

well we can't guess MM3 but there is 9 in MM2 (I think)

I think that magic number was 16?

If there are 4 in the first game, and 9 in the second, does that mean we will only see 3 new characters in the third game?

I take it the third game has not been released yet, and that number seems small so I'm probabaly wrong.

Are we talking 9 in the second INCLUDING characters from the first game? Does that mean 3 in the third game PLUS the 9 previous?

There are 13 warriors.
There are 4 playable characters in MM1 and 3 of them are warriors.

Karine
Hirado
There are 9 playable characters including 4 from MM1 (Marine,Benoit,Karine,Hirado) And 5 new characters And 6 of the 9 are warriors. 3 of them are:
Marine
Karine
Hirado
But it's for you to discover other 3.

Thanks for that. Interesting stuff. I'm still working on the first game, so It will be some time before I move on to the next games in the series, but it's nice to hear that the characters from the first game will be around throughout the series.

Karine and Hirado won't. They leave at the beginning. The game starts and your first quest is going to Mystrock. Hirado leaves after you leave Mystrock and Karine leaves after defeating Horror.
