Okay, I started replaying the series again, and I discovered that you can open the silver chest in Chantefleur Woods without a magical key...

I don't equip cursed items mainly... They are a hassle to remove. Plus, Marine has her Reflex Glove! And Benoit has his Articulate Shoulder!

Agreed. I can't remember the last time I equipped a piece of cursed armour. I don't think it's worth the hassle usually. I can't remember now about the reflex glove, but I do remember how useful the articulate shoulder is.

Reflex Glove is the Hit x2 item Marine can equip. And I just found a Steel Shoulder so I equipped that to Benoit instead of the Articulate Shoulder.

Ah yes, I remember the reflex glove now. And iirc, I had the steel shoulder equipped for big chunks of the game - obviously not when I had to equip the walking canes, though.

Karine can't equip the cane, and Hirado doesn't need the cane, but I almost always end up forgetting that and buy 4 canes. And a friend of mine and I are arguing about who is the better tank, Marine or Karine, and he thinks Marine is but I think Karine is and he just won't listen to reason! ARGH!

He is someone I know in real life. He didn't play after MM1 though. Said it wasn't his type of game.
