Hello,

I just got an Aldorlea newsletter in my email, and among other things it stated that Millennium 1 & 2 have been upgraded. Where could I find the change list? Are the Desura and/or the Groupees Build-a-greenlight-bundle versions upgraded already?

Same question for Millennium 2 - is the recent groupees build-a-bundle 5 download upgraded?

Hi,
I update the games regularly but unfortunately I don't keep track of the changes. As a general rule, to get the most up-to-date versions, it's highly preferable to get the games from Aldorlea, as this is the only portal fully under my control.

I am assuming that for the games which are on Desura, the key from https://secure.desura.com/cart/cdkeys can be used to activate the version downloaded directly from Aldorlea.

But how does it work for Millennium 2 and Sylia which are available from groupees bundles, but there is no key?

I'm not sure. You'd have to ask either Desura or Groupees.

Wait - you are the aldorlea dev, right? Why would desura and groupees know better how to unlock games downloaded direct from your own web site?

You're correct, I read too fast, or maybe I was just tired lol
You cannot use keys from Desura (or any other website) to unlock games purchased on Aldorlea. All DRMs are different which is logical since the websites are not the same.

Ok, cool. So groupees/desura users stick with the groupees/desura versions, thanks! I do hope you remember to keep those up to date, though of course not as quickly updated as your own site's versions.

This is my intention but I usually keep them "at home" for a while to make sure they are 100% fine.
Desura has a pretty recent version of MM1 though. I need to send the upgraded versions to BFG at some point and hope they accept them.

The Signs (scrolls) make for great info if you are interested in what info could be had. So playing through it all again :razz:

I am downloading the upgrade as we speak. I will be doing mm2 when I get home then I will be playing mm until you give us mm5. No rush take your time. I want to get back up to speed on your beautiful games.
