I also killed it much to my surprise. I didn't import from M1 so had to start over. To kill Gigantine took about 30 minutes and I accumulated about 30 Elder Mandrakes. Everyone in my party (Marine, Benoit, Dee & Jezzie) died often, and I used most of the Elder Mandrakes to bring them back. Toughest battle I've ever experienced. Good luck.

Gigantine is quite a great fight imo

I know cuz I had to kill her in my hard mode savefile lol

This Item isn't a secret anymore, but Omega with Fairy Love can do wonders, especially against Gigantine.

By the way, isn't it funny that Benoit still hasn't figured out why Marine keeps talking to herself, and how she manages to get so many hits in in battle? +::lol

That's her "secret power", she mentions it in MM1 just before heading to Scarlet River.

Nice screen and yeah I agree with you two, Mega-Boost is a great way to manage the tougher fights.
I used it a lot in my Hard Mode savefile. +::wizard

Wow, I found an almost *easy* way to kill gigantine. It took me only 8 minutes!! Check
out the wonderful robot, Gavitron. He hits the spider for 2,000-4,000 points a turn.
Then use Omega red with Jeanne, and solar bomb with Marine. Altogether, you'll
hit him for about 6-8,000 points per round! Equip robot with Metal Wing, Cyborg
energizer type A, and skate roller. Then I had Benoit to heal and use status effects,
and Abu to use Cure K-0 and other negative status effects. My levels in Hard Mode
were Marine-43, Benoit-40, Abu-41, and Gavitron-1 ( her never gets above a one)!
I highly recommend it!!! HEHEHE +::YAY
